Can I motorise swing shutters with an aluminium frame and wooden infill using the SLID'UP URANUS system?

The SLID'UP URANUS motorisation can be installed on this type of shutters, provided that certain technical specifications are respected:

• The shutter hinge pin must be positioned +30 mm from the edge of the shutter.

• The hinges must be made of steel or stainless steel, with a minimum thickness of 5 mm.

⚠️ Aluminium hinges are not recommended, as they may deform and damage the installation.

• Shutter leaf dimensions:

From 300 mm to 800 mm (i.e. 1.6 m² / max. 50 kg): 1 motor per leaf

From 300 mm to 900 mm (i.e. 2 m² / max. 60 kg): 2 motors per leaf (to limit wind load effects)
