Does the motorized door make noise when it is operating?

The system is relatively quiet.

When installed in a pocket door system, with the motor recessed inside the wall, the noise is almost imperceptible.

When installed as a surface-mounted system, with the motor visible, a slight operating noise may be heard, related to the motor and the rotation of the belt.
